To know that there is no end point or structure.
Living with a chronic illness is to live with limitations. A life of ever decreasing circles. Every time you think you’ve overcome a hurdle, you’re presented with yet another obstacle.
Making abstract art gives me a space in my life where I don’t have to face any limitations. Quite the opposite. I get to experience what it’s like to have total freedom; where the shackles are off.
